Final call for farmers to apply for FETF grants

Farmers across England are being urged to submit their final applications for the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2025 before the deadline at midday on Wednesday, 10 July.

With ÂŁ46.7m available this round, the fund helps farmers, growers, foresters and contractors invest in kit that boosts productivity, manages slurry more effectively, and improves animal health and welfare.

Applicants can claim between ÂŁ1,000 and ÂŁ25,000 per theme, and apply under one or all three categories: Productivity, Slurry Management, and Animal Health and Welfare.

Productivity grants can fund precision equipment such as direct drills, camera-guided hoes, and tools to improve crop management.

Slurry focused items such as mobile and fixed slurry separators, robotic slurry pushers, and inline nutrient analysis tools are supported to promote more sustainable waste management.

While most grant values cover 40-50% of each item’s cost, the scheme is competitive and not all applicants are guaranteed funding.

The fund is part of the Farming Investment Fund. It helps farmers, growers, foresters and contractors invest in equipment and technology that improve productivity, manage slurry, and support animal health and welfare.
