Final Welsh equipment grant application window opens
Welsh farmers are being given a final opportunity to apply for grant funding of between £3,000 and £12,000 for on-farm investment.
The Farm Business Grant (FBG) covers 40% of the cost of capital investment on more than 80 different pieces of equipment and machinery that increase technical performance or improve production efficiencies.
Eligible machinery includes cattle heat detection systems, mobile sheep handling systems and bulk feed bins.

The seventh application window opened this week and has a total budget of £1.5m.
To be eligible, applicants must have attended one of Farming Connect’s Farming for the Future events and have a turnover of £1m or less.
Details of upcoming dates for these events can be found on the Business Wales website.
Applicants must also have a minimum of 3ha of registered agricultural land within Wales or be able to demonstrate more than 550 hours of agricultural labour per year.
Businesses that have been successful under the Sustainable Production Grant Scheme are not eligible for the FBG.
