Final Welsh equipment grant application window opens

Welsh farmers are being given a final opportunity to apply for grant funding of between £3,000 and £12,000 for on-farm investment.

The Farm Business Grant (FBG) covers 40% of the cost of capital investment on more than 80 different pieces of equipment and machinery that increase technical performance or improve production efficiencies.

Eligible machinery includes cattle heat detection systems, mobile sheep handling systems and bulk feed bins.

The seventh application window opened this week and has a total budget of £1.5m.
