Prime Wiltshire farmland up for grabs

A decent-sized block of prime Wiltshire farmland at Theobalds Green near Calne is suitable for a variety of uses, according to agent Woolley & Wallis.

The 58 acres of arable and pasture land comes with stabling, indoor manège and a steel-framed building. It is available as a whole or in three lots ranging from five to 45 acres.

The land is ideal for grazing livestock and also for equestrian use, with good access to a network of bridleways. Fields are of good sizes and are registered for SPS payments and in an ELS scheme.

The guide price for the whole is £650,000. (Woolley & Wallis 01672 515 252)

Just over 114 acres of land at Preston Farm, near Upottery, near Honiton, Devon, is due to be sold at auction on 30 November. The land, currently pasture, is described as “a superb run of productive land” by agent Stags.

Most fields have been ploughed and rotationally re-seeded.

The whole has a guide price of £635,000. (Stags 01404 45885)
