Recognition for agricultural managers

Professional recognition for agricultural managers has moved a step closer.

The Institute of Agricultural Management voted to award Professional Agriculturalist status to members who meet achievement standards.

The Institute, which represents the farm management profession in the UK, will continue to push for chartered status for agricultural professionals, its chairman Richard Clarke said.

“This is a significant step in the right direction.”
