Two blocks of Northumberland land

Two blocks of bare land in Northumberland are for sale either as a whole or in two lots.

The land at Old Ridley, near Stocksfield, is a 45ha (110 acre) grade 3 arable plot and is for sale for around £630,000.

The soils are described as “slowly permeable, seasonally waterlogged fine loamy over clayey and clayey”, and the land has been in arable rotation, with a contract farming agreement in place until harvest 2012.

On the market for £490,000, the first lot is 87 acres, with 74 acres of arable land, nine acres of grassland and four acres of woodland and tracks. The second lot is mainly arable, but includes nine acres of grassland, and is on the market for £140,000.

This sale is by informal tender and entitlements are included.
