Unimog back on the farm

unimogMercedes is back into the agricultural field this autumn with a full farming specification model of the four-wheel-drive Unimog.

With from outputs from 218hp to 230hp, hydraulically variable ground clearance, integrated tyre pressure control, front and rear mechanical pto and rear three-point hitch, it’s a well-equipped vehicle.

The company stresses that the specifications of the new model mean it is taxed as a tractor in most countries and not as an HGV.

The latest model comes complete with ISO BUS terminal for GPS field navigation and precision farming systems. Field speeds are from 0.93 to 9.3mph with an additional 8-gear roadgoing range up to 53mph. Prices range from 58,000 to around 110,000.
