Volac acquires Parnutt Foods

Dairy nutrition company Volac is to acquire youngstock feed business Parnutt Foods.

Volac said it had been working with Parnutt for many years and the move would allow both companies to develop busines in the piglet, equine and pet food markets.

“This acquisition is the latest in our ambitious growth plans at Volac,” said commercial director Eamonn Drea. Parnutt will continue to trade at its Sleaford site, he added.
