Young farmers offered chance to learn how to lead

Young farmers and agricultural business managers are being offered the chance to learn about business leadership thanks to a course at the Royal Agricultural College.

The series of three, two-day day workshops will encourage people to share their experiences, as well as develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

Delegates will also be able to discuss their businesses with course leaders Professor John Alliston, dean of the RAC’s School of Agriculture and Keith Barriball, partner at Smiths Gore, and visiting speakers during the three night residential stay at the college.

The course, to be held in November, December and January, has been subsidised by Herda SW Business Champions Project and costs £450 per person, including the cost of accommodation.
