Agritechnica: Tanco takes the load off to lighten the loader
Tanco’s new 175 Multi Shear is designed to reduce the number of loader attachments required by livestock farmers.
The Irish bale handling specialist reckons its new shear grab will allow buyers to feed baled silage and pit silage with the same implement and there are no settings changes to be made between the two.
The machine chomps down on pit silage like a standard blockcutter so the clamp face remains clean and sealed.
It will also split round bales from 1.2-1.5m and uses one double acting spool. It should fit most tractor loaders and telehandlers and weighs 150kg more than the 170 bale shear.
