Agritechnica: Zavod’s 3t/min transfer hopper chases UK market
Grain transfer hoppers are growing in popularity as a slightly cheaper alternative to chaser bins, with French maker Perard one company actively marketing them in the UK.
Zavod Kobzarenko (we’re not sure on the pronunciation) has also just started making one and it looks like a pretty heavy-duty arrangement. The Ukrainian-built bin will hold 12cu m and has two 300mm augers running along its base.
The 500mm spout auger will shift up to 3t/min into waiting grain lorries or clean road-going trailers and the hopper has a €32,755 list price.
