Anker’s latest Kemper to go on show at Lamma

Hampshire firm Anker Machinery says it will be showing a new Kemper 360plus 6m header at Newark.

This unit has a lower, flatter profile than previous Kemper headers but still keeps the firm’s row-independent harvesting system.

This involves high-speed running rotors which cut across the full 6m working width.

The header can be hydraulically folded for transport, reducing the width to just 3m wide.

The 360plus cutting rotors, which have exchangeable segments and special scrapers, are said to provide the conditions for the best possible harvesting in any season in any thick or thin stemmed crop with little or no modification.
