Hi-Spec to show higher-capacity Kompactor trailer

Hi-Spec Engineering will be showing off its larger-capacity Kompactor trailer at January’s Lamma show.

The 37cu m K40 has a hydraulically operated front bulkhead that can be used to compact light but bulky materials such as maize silage. This increases the load carried by up to 80% compared with a conventional trailer and is then used to discharge the load in as little as 30 seconds with no height or stability restrictions.

Hi-Spec builds four models, with capacities of 28, 31, 34 and 37cu m, running on either twin or triple axles and with the option of sliding running gear to adjust weight transfer for optimum field traction and road stability.
