JCB shows Loadall telehandlers with Ecomax engines

JCB’s latest-generation of Loadall telehandlers are powered by JCB’s Tier 4i Ecomax engines. These are said to require no particulate filters or post-engine exhaust treatment but rely on a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) to achieve emission compliance.

Features include back-off brakes to increase efficiency, button-style gear selection on the joystick, variable speed cooling fan and a transmission dump integrated into brake pedal operation.

JCB is also introducing the Cummins powered 427 and 437 wheeled loaders at Lamma. Like the new Loadall telehandlers, these also use a diesel oxidation catalyst to meet emission regulations – a system which should last the life of the loader, says the manufacturer.
