Kuhn hedgecutter extends its reach
Kuhn’s 5.5m Poly-Longer long-reach hedgecutter is now available with a 1.5m flail head as an alternative to the standard 1.2m head. The new flail head uses 28 T-flails – an increase of four on the standard header. To improve reach on the 1.2m head machine, there’s a Shift Rail System (SRS) mechanical sliding head mechanism which provides +/- 40cm movement on the flail head. The Poly-Longer has a starting price of £21,491 and the new 1.5m head puts another £19,10 on this price. The SRS option adds on another £298.
