Lamma 2015: Massey Ferguson to show MF4700 tractor from global range
Three new tractor ranges will be previewed by Massey Ferguson at Lamma as preparations are made to roll out the MF 1700 range of compacts, the MF 4700 Series from the new Global range, and an undisclosed new series coming from the MF factory in Beauvais, France.
The compacts destined to perform duties as scraper tractors and in horticulture are powered by Mitsubishi turbo engines with high-pressure common rail fuel injection and electronic management – a sophisticated package for a compact.

There are three- and four-cylinder versions delivering 36-59hp through a 12×12 power shuttle transmission or a hydrostatic drive unit with separate forward and reverse pedals.
The larger MF 4700 Series comprises two models at 85hp and 95hp with two- or four-wheel drive and a folding ROPS frame.
Electronic linkage control and an Agco Power engine are also part of a package built around a new family of transmissions.
