Lamma: Kongskilde unveils Germinator cultivator

Kongskilde’s machinery display will include the first outing at Lamma for a new series of trailed seed-bed cultivators and an updated trailed forage harvester.

The Germinator Pro series is available in working widths from 5.4m to 7.9m and a transport width of 3m. Designed to work into ploughed land, the cultivator has five sections – hydraulically adjusted levelling boards, crumbler roller, a 5-row bank of spring tines, rear levelling board and a double roller press. Optimum working speed is set at 10-12kph and power requirement at 30-35hp/m.

The JF-Stoll FCT 1360 trailed forage harvester has been updated and now has greater output, says the manufacturer. Badged as the FCT 1460 MD, changes include a reinforced gearbox, an ability to adjust chop length from 6-32mm and a 3.1m pickup as standard.

If it’s boom spreading of fertiliser that’s required, Kongskilde now has the pneumatic Wing Jet S 4824, which has a 4,800 litre hopper (6,000 litre with extensions) and boom widths from 12m through to 24m. Features include four-section shut-off, GPS control and variable-rate application.
