First outing at Livestock 2012 for Opico’s pasture harrow which it now imports from Austrian company, Hatzenbichler.

Constructed from galvanised steel box section, the pasture harrow employs two rows of 95mm wide paddles attached to lengths of spring steel.

These, says the company, spread and breakdown mole hills and dung pats before they are raked into the pasture using two rows of tines.

The degree of “aggression” exerted by the paddles is set manually by adjusting the depth of two wheels and the tines can be angled in one of three positions. Produced in widths of 2.5m, 5m and 6m, the 5m costs £7,861.
