Livestock 2013: Bypass protein could boost digestibility

Using a new bypass protein could help reduce the amount of crude protein used in cow rations.

Available from Carrs Billington Agriculture, AminoMax-Pro is a new plant-based bypass protein source, designed to increase protein yield and digestibility.

It is manufactured using breakthrough enzyme-based technology, which uses soya beans and rape to provide consistent levels of bioavailable lysine, methionine and other essential amino acids to the cow. This reduces the variability in bypass protein.
