The NAAC’s Contractor 2015 conference, set to take place on 10 December, will be offering a wide range of speakers and topics.

Speakers such as George Eustice, Defra minister; Caroline Drummond, chief executive for Linking Environment and Farming (Leaf); and David Turley, consultant for National Non-Food Crops Centre (NNFCC) will offer some great talking points at the event in East of England Showground, Peterborough.

A hot lunch will follow before everyone has time to explore the huge exhibition area which will showcase machinery and services from a wide range of manufacturers, including event sponsors New Holland Agriculture.

The focus of the day will be how changing times may create profit or conflict for contractors, in terms of politics, environment and machinery, with NAAC member Charlie Baker showing how his business has tackled change.

The afternoon will also offer a chance to get involved in more practical sessions in the new seminar area. Subjects will include machinery costs and contractor-specific services.

This is the only UK event specifically for contractors and it will be bigger and better than ever, claims the NAAC.

The conference doors open at 9am, with events starting at 10am.

Tickets for non-members cost ÂŁ35, including a two-course lunch. The event is free for NAAC members.
