Win £1,000 worth of Safemix poultry bedding

Visitors to the Pig & Poultry Fair at Stoneleigh have the opportunity to win £1,000 worth of Safemix poultry bedding, in a free-to-enter competition.

Poultry World has teamed up with Arden Wood Shavings to launch the competition, based around guessing the area a certain amount of poultry bedding will cover at a pre-determined depth.

“Taking part couldn’t be easier,” says Poultry World editor Philip Clarke. “Simply come along to our stand (35) in Exhibition Hall 1, or visit the Arden stand (240) in the Blackdown Buildings (see p8 of the fair guide for a site plan), and ask for an entry form.

“Once done, it is then just a question of writing down your guess and adding your contact details to stand a chance of winning this valuable prize. All correct answers will be put into a hat and drawn at random to find one overall winner.”

As an added incentive, everyone entering the competition will receive a free squishy egg, branded with the Poultry World 140th anniversary logo.

“Arden has been supplying quality bedding to the poultry market for over 30 years,” says managing director Chris Stanford. “Our blended shavings product, Safemix, was launched in 2008 following several years of development, and plays a key role in keeping the nation’s commercial chicken and turkey flocks clean, dry and healthy.”

Fairgoers are encouraged to visit the Poultry World stand to take part in the competition, but also to talk to the editorial team about the magazine – currently celebrating its 140th year of publication – and any other issues affecting the poultry sector.
