Exel industries was well-represented at Sima, with Agrifac, Berthoud, Hardi and Tecnoma all claiming fair-sized stands. French sprayer maker Caruelle is another brand from Exel and was showing off its forward cab self-propelled unit for the first time.

The sprayer is a familiar face, having already arrived in the UK dressed in Berthoud and Tecnoma’s colours.

There are three tank capacities – 3,200, 4,200 and 5,200 litres, all incorporating a 450-litre rinse tank. Steel booms are on offer up to 38m and aluminium ones extend to 42m. Stainless steel spray lines and a hydraulic folding induction hopper are standard.

Hydrostatic drive provides three changeable-on-the-go speed ranges of 0-15kph, 0-22kph and 0-40kph.

It also gets a lowering cab and comes with a suspended chassis with manual track adjustment from 1.8m to 2.25m as standard and hydraulic adjustment available as an option. Standard ground clearance is 1.1m.
