Coronavirus: Sima machinery show postponed until February 2021

The latest casualty of the coronavirus outbreak is France’s huge biennial Sima machinery show, which has been moved back from November to its original date in February next year.

It was the first time organisers had shifted the show to November, in a bid to avoid taking place in the same year as Agritechnica in Germany – Europe’s flagship farm machinery exhibition. However, this planned new date will now have to wait until 2022.

Sima will be held at its usual venue of Parc des Expositions in Paris from 21 to 25 February 2021.

As this year’s show scene has taken a battering, next year’s events are likely to be well attended. Those to add to your calendar include Sima, Lamma – scheduled for a week later than usual on 12-13 January – and Agritechnica in Hannover from 14-20 November.
