Charity walk along the Thames
TV FARMING CELEBRITY Arthur Anderson has set off on a 180-mile fundraising walk along the River Thames.
Mr Anderson started at the Thames Barrier and will be raising money for the Guild of Agricultural Journalist‘s Charitable Trust Fund.
Cllr Brian O‘Sullivan, Mayor of Greenwich, was among the group which waved him off on Sun (Sept 5).
Mr Anderson was supported on the first leg of his journey by GAJ Trustees Donald Gomery and Diane Montague, and Peter Bullen, chairman of the GAJ Charitable Trust.
David Croston, chief executive of the English Beef and Lamb Executive who are major sponsors of the walk, was also in attendance.
