Competition: Your farming photo could win you £250
Stunning wildlife moments and livestock of all shapes and sizes are among the many pictures already submitted for this year’s Farmers Weekly photography competition.
There is still plenty of time for you to enter this prestigious contest, which has eight categories covering a range of farming and rural topics.
It is open to all amateur photographers and, as well as giving you a chance to showcase your best countryside pictures, is offering a first prize of £250.
Among the entries submitted so far are “Keeping an eye on you” from FWi gallery user “yrammy” and “Hide and Seek” from “daffyduck” (below).
We will be publishing a selection of the pictures we like best in the bumper Christmas issue of Farmers Weekly.
The categories are: Landscape; Machinery; Livestock; Wildlife; People; Black-and-white; Young photographer; Pets.
The closing date for the competition is Monday 7 November 2016. You can enter online by uploading your pictures to the dedicated galleries.
