Could one of your kids be an FWi blogger?

FWi is looking for country youngsters to become our bloggers, regularly contributing to the website.

Blogging is really easy. It’s just like writing an online diary that other people can read. What we want is for these youngsters to share their experiences with other children who live in towns and cities to help explain what it’s like to grow up on a farm.

If your son or daughter is 16 or under and would like to be considered, get them to email us 150 words on the subject “Why I love the countryside” by June 22. It will help if they imagine they’re writing for someone who lives in a big city.

The best entrants will each receive a £10 W H Smith voucher and will be invited to start blogging on a more regular basis on FWi in July and so help to explain to a wider, younger audience what farming and rural life is all about.

Email the article by June 22 to tim.relf@rbi.co.uk, stating the entrant’s name, age, the type of farm they live on, and a contact number for mum or dad.
