Farmers Weekly maps Britain’s best rural beers

As part of Farmer’s Weekly‘s hunt for Britain’s best rural beer, we’ve created a “beer map”, pinpointing the location of some of Britain’s tastiest rural brews.

Earlier this month Farmers Weekly scoured the length and breadth of the country in search of Britain’s Best Rural Beer 2012. With the help of BB2 Radio 2’s Nigel Barden and his expert tastebuds, we sampled 50 beers from all over the country.

We’ll be unveiling the results of the tasting on Friday, but in the meantime, we hope our beer map will help readers extend their “buy local” ethos from bangers and burgers to beer.

So, if you want to find a rural brewery, it’s worth having a look here. And if there are any breweries you’d recommend that you’d like to see added then email the details to fwfarmlife@rbi.co.uk and we’ll add them to the map.
