Your farming photos could win you cash

Snapped any great countryside photos? Enter Farmers Weekly’s 2015 Photography Competition and you could be in the running for a cash prize and a chance to see your shots in the bumper Christmas issue of Farmers Weekly.

This prestigious competition, open to amateur photographers, has eight categories covering a range of farming and rural topics.

There is £250 on offer for the “winner of winners” – the picture we like the best from all the category winners.

The categories are:

  • Machinery
  • Wildlife
  • Livestock
  • Landscapes
  • People
  • Pets
  • Black and white
  • Young photographer (open to anyone aged 16 or under).

Among the many entries in this prestigious competition so far are this one of the Highland beast taken by Farmers Weekly gallery user “Drazzy” in the Peak District (above) and Liam Donaldson’s picture titled “Harvest, Scotland 2015” (below).

You can enter as many pictures as you want, across as many categories as you want (just make sure you put each one in the appropriate entry gallery).

When you upload them, please also include a line or two of details about where and when the picture was taken.
