Harvest 2025: Send us your images that capture the season

Harvest is one of the most intense, rewarding, and visually striking times of the farming year, and Farmers Weekly wants to see it through your lens.
Our annual Harvest Photography Competition is now open for 2025, giving you the chance to showcase the season’s hard work and beauty.

Whether it’s the golden glow of a combine at dusk, the dust of the grain cart, or a team working flat out under stormy skies, we want to see the moments that define your harvest.
Take a minute to capture a high-resolution image that tells the story of this year’s harvest on your farm.
Then upload it to the gallery and don’t forget to include where it was taken and what it shows.
Our favourite images will be featured in Farmers Weekly magazine, across our website and social media, with one standout photo earning the prestigious spot on the front cover.
Top tip – cover-worthy images need to be high-resolution (at least 2,400 pixels wide or a minimum file size of 2MB) and suitable to be cropped to a square format.
Photos must be from the 2025 harvest to be eligible.
Whether it’s dramatic skies, powerful machinery, or quiet moments in the cab, we’re looking for pictures that capture the heart and soul of the British harvest.
Show us the harvest as you see it – and your photo could make the front cover.
How to enter
Uploading your pictures is quick and easy. Just go online to our Harvest 2025 gallery page and follow the simple instructions.
- The competition is open to all amateur photographers. However, the photo must be your own work and taken this year
- There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit, so go wild
- Don’t forget to add a short description telling us where the photo was taken and what it shows
- The higher the resolution, the better (ideally 300dpi and a minimum file size of 2MB)
- Please consider that the winning image will need to be square in shape (or cropped to a square) to appear on FW’s front cover.
We look forward to seeing your pictures.
The closing date of the competition is 1 September 2025.
