Sadie and her husband Dave have a flock of 30 registered Greyface Dartmoor ewes, and have been breeding and showing them for more than 25 years.
They also have 15 registered Devon and Cornwall Longwool ewes, which they have been breeding and showing for seven years.
The couple have had a tough lambing season, having been hit by Schmallenberg and losing five lambs to the disease.
Fortunately, Sadie says all the ewes have been saved but they now face delays in turning ewes and lambs out due to exceptionally waterlogged grazing.
It reminds us that lambing is a rewarding time of year, but can be incredibly difficult too.
