Despite a string of days this winter when it felt almost spring-like, this week the weather turned to snow in many parts of the UK.

Yet this picture of the pet lamb Kelloggs from the River Valais flock getting stuck into some flowers in beautiful, bright colours is reminiscent of Easter, giving us all permission to cling on to hopes for warmer days ahead.

Kelloggs is a Valais Blacknose, which originates in Switzerland and is often dubbed “the world’s cutest sheep”.
