Get your diversification in FW’s Christmas gift guide

Farmers Weekly’s annual Christmas shopping guide will major on farm diversification products and services this year.
The feature, which will appear online and in the magazine in November, is always a great source of inspiration for members of farming families when it comes to buying presents.
Once again, it’ll be jam-packed full of ideas for gifts for even the most hard-to-buy-for relative or friend.
But given the vital role diversifications play in many farming businesses, we also want to showcase the imaginative diversification businesses operating on many farms and estates across the country.
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit certain diversifications hard, but many are also expanding – in some cases, providing vital revenue to keep the wider farming business afloat in these difficult times.
So whatever the nature of your diversification – whether it’s arty or foodie, aimed at people or pets, farm-related or doing something else altogether – if you make or sell an item or service that you think would make a great Christmas gift, please let us know.
Whether you’re trading locally or globally, whether you’re a start-up or well established, whether you’re making an item or offering a visitor experience, all you have to do to be in with a shot at appearing in the feature is email us a few lines about what you do.
And sorry we’re mentioning Christmas in October – but we want to hear from businesses nice and early so we can get the feature published in plenty of time for people to order and buy items (such as the lovely willow beagles pictured above), made by Emma-Stothard, which was one of the products in the 2019 guide).
