Great Yorkshire Show: Visitor information

The Great Yorkshire Show runs from Tuesday 14 July to Thursday 16 July at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, off the A1(M) north of Wetherby.
The show opens at 7.30am and dogs – except assistance dogs – are not allowed on the showground.
Tickets on the gate cost £21 for an adult and £10 for a child and concession tickets for the over-60s and students cost £19. A family ticket covering two adults and two children costs £55 on the gate. Tickets purchased in advance, from the show website or by phoning 01423 541 222, cost £18 for an adult, £16 for concessions, £8 for children and £47 for a family, when bought before 8 July.
Those travelling to the show by train can obtain a further £2 off the advance ticket price when buying rail tickets at the same time as booking with Northern Rail. Call Northern Rail on 0113 247 9659.
Free shuttle busses will run from Harrogate and Hornbeam Park railway stations to the showground. Tickets for Countryside Live (24-25 October 2009), the Great Yorkshire Show’s sister event, are half price when bought at the same time as tickets for the Great Yorkshire Show.
