Fresh from the Lions’ victory over Australia this weekend, Welsh rugby player Dan Lydiate kicked back with a copy of Farmers Weekly.
The Wales flanker was snapped with his favourite farming mag by fellow Lions player Paul O’Connell – a rugby union player for Munster and Ireland – who shared it on Twitter.
Clearly amused by his teammate’s choice of reading material, O’Connell tweeted: “@dan_lydiate genuinely reads this magazine!”
Lydiate, who hails from a sheep farm at Abbeycwmhir near Llandrindod Wells, describes himself on his Twitter profile as a rugby player and “future farmer”.After the team’s 23-21 win in Brisbane on Saturday, Lydiate will be captaining tomorrow’s warm up game against the Melbourne Rebels.
