Prince Charles drops himself in hot water with McDonalds comment

Prince Charles has been branded a hypocrite by the Daily Mail newspaper.

The allegation follows the prince’s suggestion during a tour of a medical centre in Abu Dhabi that banning the burger chain McDonald’s could help improve the country’s health.

The Gulf State has the second highest incidence of diabetes in the world.

The Daily Mail said the prince’s own Duchy Originals Cornish Pasty carried more calories, fat and salt on a gram by gram basis than a Big Mac.
