Promoting UK farms

WANTED: 20,000 to promote British agriculture. Essex farmer Guy Smith has already raised enough money to print 200,000 copies of his promotional booklet Farm, Food and the Countryside. Now, he is looking for more sponsors to print an extra 100,000 copies.

The booklet, supported by a free poster distributed by farmers weekly (Farmlife, Dec 17), is available free of charge to anyone who wants to promote British food and farming.

Copies can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the address below.

Meanwhile, Mr Smith seeks minimum contributions of £3000 to print more copies of his promotional booklet. Sponsors will be acknowledged on the inside front cover of the guide.
