Reading Uni boys snap FW on Tour winner

This is the image that won over voters in our recent FW on Tour photo competition.
Reading University students James Higginbotham, Tom Bate and Owen Piper (L-R) managed to tear themselves away from the sweeping landscape at Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland, to snap this shot of them reading their favourite mag.
The picture notched up 215 votes from Farmers Weekly Facebook fans, who were tasked with voting from a shortlist of pictures to choose the overall winner.
The next closest contender was 73-year-old David Walmsley, who earned 97 votes for his picture reading Farmers Weekly in his favourite spot – his great great great grandfather’s antique chair.
If you weren’t lucky this time round, make sure you keep your camera and a copy of Farmers Weekly with you when you’re out and about, because we’ll be running another FW on Tour competition in 2012.In the meantime, you can always send us your pictures reading Farmers Weekly in unusual or exotic places by uploading them to our gallery at www.fwi.co.uk/bizarre or emailing them to rachel.jones@rbi.co.uk
