Second day success as Game Fair draws in crowds

Thousands of people have enjoyed a sweltering second day at the CLA Game Fair 2008, putting yesterday’s traffic woes behind them.

Visitors descended on the showground at Blenheim Palace to see a packed programme of debates and entertainment.

By mid-afternoon, busy stallholders predicted a possible record show attendance. Showgoers were also in bouyant mood.

“We’ve really enjoyed it,” said Wendy Chuter of Hope, Derbyshire. “It’s a long way to travel, but it’s been worth it.”

The Duke of Edinburgh was also at the show, mingling with crowds as he took a guided tour.
