Social media: Ask the experts anything
Farmers Weekly is hosting a live web chat on the evening of Thursday 30 June to help readers get the most out of the huge array of social media tools on offer.
Experts from inside and outside the farming industry will chatting live on FWi from 6.30-8pm to answer any questions you might have about using tools such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and podcasting. It will also be an opportunity to have a wider discussion about how effectively farmers are using new social media in their personal and business lives.
Among the experts taking part is Heather Gorringe, who runs the Wiggly Wigglers garden supplies business, and studied different forms of social media as part of a Nuffield Farming Scholarship.
Social media consultants Jan Minihane and Tim O’Grady will also be dropping in to lend their expertise, having worked extensively with rural businesses in and around Shropshire. And if you’ve got your own social media success story, we want to hear from you too.
How to get involved
Put the date in your diary (Thursday 30 June) and go to www.fwi.co.uk on the day to take part. Can’t make it on 30 June? Don’t worry – you can post a question on our forums ahead of the event and we’ll endeavour to get it answered.
