Theatre company brings farming voices to summer shows

Visitors to two agricultural shows this summer will have a chance to experience a unique audio project.
From Land to Mouth, the work of the Pentabus Rural Theatre Company, sees showgoers invited into a tented farmhouse kitchen where, through headsets, they can hear farmer conversations about fair prices, diversification and change, plus food producers’ hopes and fears.
Over a glass of free old-fashioned lemonade and the chance to browse through historical pictures and articles, audiences can listen to farmers’ thoughts in their own words – but voiced by professional actors.Â
