‘Try before you buy’ at new shooting show
Visitors to a new shooting fair in the south east will be able to test-fire guns before they purchase, after organisers came to a special agreement with Surrey Police.
Under the guidance of range instructors and exhibitors, anyone holding a valid Firearms Certificate (FAC) will be able to try before they buy at the new Bisley Live shooting show, which is due to be held at The National Shooting Centre in Surrey this autumn.
More than 200 exhibitors are expected to showcase guns, ammunition, clothing and accessories at the three-day event, which is focused solely on target and game shooting.
“The team [at Bisley Live] understand exactly what shooters want,” said the Shooting Centre’s managing director Jeremy Staples. “Not only are they offering shooters a try before you buy facility, but they have avoided hosting the show when gamekeepers are at their busiest rearing poults in the summer. It’s set to become one of the most important dates in the shooting calendar.”
Bisley Live will be held from 30 September-2 October at The National Shooting Centre in Bisley, Surrey.
