Twitter helps drive rural road safety debate

Dozens of farmers and rural people logged on to Twitter last night to tackle out the issue of rural road safety.
The dangers and risks of driving on rural roads was the subject of the weekly #agrichatuk Twitter chat and drew hundreds of tweets in just two hours.
Among the questions were: “Can new safety technology help reduce accidents?”, “How can we change attitudes to driving among 15-24 year olds?” and “Do we need to increase perception to the public about hazards on rural roads?”
