Writing competition: Tell us about ‘the view from here’

“The View From Here” is the theme of Farmers Weekly‘s new writing competition, so send us your thoughts on it and you could be on your way to winning £100 and seeing your words published in Farmers Weekly.

You could interpret “The View From Here” in many different ways. It might be what you can see, literally, from where you currently are. Or what you can see from your house – the yard or the garden or the landscape beyond. It might even be what’s inside your house – possibly your family.

Alternatively, it might be your predictions for the future. Or your view on a particular topic – something you feel strongly about, something that makes you happy or sad, perhaps. It might even be a view you have in your imagination – a person or a place, possibly, real or imagined?

However you interpret it, we would like you to write 700-800 words on this topic and send us them by Friday 19 February 2016.

We will publish the piece we like best, along with some extracts from some of the others, in Farmers Weekly.

Good luck and we look forward to reading about the view from where you are.
