1. Get your FW t-shirt

Farmers Weekly t-shirts

At registration on Friday, 4 May, our stand will be loaded with Farmers Weekly branded t-shirts in a choice of black or white.

To get your limited edition t-shirt we’ll be asking for a suggested donation of £1 to our chosen charity, Farming Community Network (FCN).

These t-shirts are going to be in high demand, so don’t forget to bring some cash with you to bag yours while our stocks last.

2. Take on our milk boat race challenge

Join us in backing British dairy farmers by signing up to have a go at our milk boat race challenge. The aim of the game is for teams of five club members to down pints of milk in a race against the clock – the team that sets the fastest time of the day wins.

The winning team’s prize is something that money can’t buy – a photoshoot with our photographer, Colin, and being featured as the main image of the Farmlife pages of the magazine, kicking off Farmers Weekly‘s Convention coverage.

To sign up, come and see us during registration on Friday, 4 May and we’ll tell you when and where to meet us.

3. Make a splash

After all, we are by the seaside, folks, so come rain or shine you simply have to get on the beach at some point during the weekend.

You can go for a paddle, have a kick around with a football or maybe just take a nap if you’re flagging a bit.

We’ve got to hand it to the organisers of the Annual Convention because they’ve played a blinder with the theme of the second evening party at the Winter Gardens.

Prepare for generous helpings of UV paint because Saturday night is set to be a glow in the dark sensation.

If you manage to get your hands on one of our white FW branded t-shirts, then why not use it as a blank canvas to help you stand out from the crowd?

5. Chris Stark is back

That’s right, true to form the wonderful Chris Stark will be calling in to entertain his Young Farmer fans.

The NFYFC ambassador will be headlining on Saturday night with what never fails to be a glorious set of tunes to get the crowd going.

6. Best boogies

If you need to up you dancing game with some swish new moves, head to the Empress Ballroom at 1.30pm on Sunday to watch and cheer on the disco dancing competition finalists.

You might even pick up some new moves to break out on the dance floor. To be honest, we don’t think you can go wrong with the combine harvester but it’s good to keep things fresh.

7. Party with The Hask
