Cheshire-based steel-framed building supplier Graham Heath Construction has launched a new £40,000 website that allows farmers to design their own impressions of buildings without having to hire an architect.
One of the first of its kind in the UK, the bespoke software means web visitors can go through a step-by-step process to create an artist’s impression of a structure that completely suits their needs.
“For the first time ever, people will be able to design an artist’s impression of their own agricultural, equestrian or industrial buildings for free and at the touch of a button,” said the company’s Alec Fowler.
“We find people have a building in mind but have difficulty describing what they’re after. That’s why they will often splash out on an architect to come up with the necessary drawings. With our new technology, customers can create their own building at no extra cost.
Once customers have designed a building on the website, the artist’s impression and technical details are forwarded to the company’s sales department who will then quickly and easily provide a comprehensive quote. (01270 781 158 www.gh-construction.co.uk)
