Aberdeen-Angus females sell to 7500gns twice
Aberdeen-Angus females sold to 7500gns twice here at Stirling this afternoon, with this top price first achieved by Elliot Delia from John Elliot Jnr. This one is a Hoff Limited Edition son out of Cudlobe Delia 27C, a Cudlobe Chester daughter. She sold in calf to Rawburn Double O Seven, due in May and with a TSI of +27 and an SRI of +38. Buying this one was Michael O’Hara, Pinner.
Second at this price was Mosston Muir Elsie from Tom Rennie. This F A R Kruggerand daughter is out of Cudlobe Eline, another by Chester and has an impressive show record behind her. She sold with a TSI of +38 and an SRI of +51 and went to Ian Graham, Balgay Farms.
Then making 6000gns was Rawburn Miss Princess from John Elliot Snr. This is by Rawburn Transformer and out of Rawburn Miss Princess, an Elgar of the Moss daughter. She was sold in-calf to Rawburn El Chester, due in April. She has a TSI of +34 and an SRI of +50 and went to Mr Marsden.
A pair sold at 5000gns with the first being Mosston Muir Lady Isadora, again from Tom Rennie. This is a Hallington Walter daughter out of Freya Lady Isobelle, a Fyvie Bomber daughter. Selling with a TSI of +19 and an SRI of +22 and in calf to Mosston Muir Elgin, she was knocked down to Ian Anderson, buying on behalf of Jimmy MacMillan Snr of the Dunesk herd.
The other at this price was Elliot Ebony, a Rawburn Lord Ross daughter from John Elliot Jnr. This is out of Elliot Ebony, an F A R Kruggerand daughter and was sold in-calf to Rawburn El Torro and with a TSI of +26 and an SRI of +30. She went to Gordon Brooke, Yorkshire.
Selling at 4800gns red heifer Oaklea Red Gemma from Messrs Andrew. This is by Red Fine Line Mulberry and is out of Red JCC Gidgey, a Red Ter-Ron Mambo daughter. ET bred she has a TSI of +31 and an SRI of +40 and went to Jill Noble.
Then selling at 4300gns was Weeton Miss Essence, a DMM Posi-Traction daughter from the Loftus family. This is out of DMM Miss Essence, 46L, a Stevenson Royce daughter. She has a TSI of +22 and an SRI of +33 and went to Andrew Hodge, Rulesmains, Kelso.
Then at 4000gns was Oaklea Red Gayle, a Red Fine Line Mulberry daughter from Messrs Andrews. This one is ET bred out of Red JCC Gidget 80P, a Red Ter-Ron Mambo. This one has a TSI of +28 and an SRI of +38. She sold to Ballindalloch Castle.
At 3800gns was Belhaven Eastend from John Gilmour. This is by S A V Net Worth and out of Royal Eston Anne, an MVRB Vision daughter. ET bred this one has a TSI of +40 and an SRI of +54. Buyer of this one was the Bruceshill Cattle Company.
The pre-sale champion Deveron Jasmine Erica from the Sclaters was passed through the ring unsold at 4000gns, but was later traded at 4800gns to join Andrew Hodge’s herd. This is a Blackhaugh Easy Papa daughter out of Morven Juana Erica, a Coldstream Dominator daughter. She has a TSI of +40 and an SRI of +52 and was in-calf to Deveron Phoenix.
