Beef Expo 2009 to focus on returns

“Beef up your returns” will be the theme of this year’s Beef Expo 2009, when it returns this time to the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire, on Thursday, 21 May, 2009.

The event, which is organised by the National Beef Association, will include an extensive range of trade stands, beef breed demonstrations, educational and advisory exhibits and a comprehensive seminar programme.

Visitors will also have the chance to view three Worcestershire beef farms prior to the event, followed by a pre-event conference and dinner.

Beef Expo is now well established as the premier event for the beef industry in the UK, says Worcester auctioneer Clive Roads. “We have ambitious plans to make this year’s event the best ever and the strong support of our major sponsor, Lloyds TSB Agriculture, will be a key factor in helping us stage a first-class technical event for the beef industry.

“It has never been more important for beef producers to be fully up to speed with all the latest information and trends covering technical innovation, genetics, nutrition, economics, machinery and market opportunities, as well as everything else that goes into running a successful, profitable and sustainable beef enterprise,” says Mr Roads.
