Bozeat herd sells well

A successful sale of the Bozeat herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle took place on behalf of John Browns and Sons, Northampton at Thrapston Livetsock Centre.

89 head were well sold with prices selling to £1200 for cows with calves at foot. The oldest cow born in 2002, with a heifer calf at foot made £750.

In-calf heifers topped at £1000 with others selling between £700-£800.  The stock bull Aynho Jaguar made £1260.

There were several lots of purebred Aberdeen Angus steers from the same home and these sold to £670 for 16-18 months old.
