BPEX offers more grant cash

PIG PRODUCERS are to benefit from a further £600,000 in grant awards from the British Pig Executive.

The cash is available under the BPEX Supply Chain Grant Scheme, which aims to improve communication in the supply chain. 

A total of £400,000 has already been awarded to help projects in six market areas, including gaining a stronger stake for British pork in the food service sector.

BPEX is inviting applications for further grants and the deadline is July 7.
