Taking the overall supreme championship is George and Pat Long, Ambleside with their homebred bull, Millbrow George. Judge Andrew Burnett said of his champion: “this is a typical Limmy type, with plenty of breed character and so correct.”
George is by Ardnacrusha Uthman and out of Millbrow Opal and is the only lot forward from the Long’s who have had lots sell to £14,000 in the past at the Carlisle sale.
Taking the intermediate championship is H McFarland’s Rahoney Geoffrey by Wildoge Cereberus and out of Rahnoney Abigail. Geoffrey was reserve champion at the Northern Ireland Limousin Championships and carries exceptional figures with his 200 and 400 day weight, beef value and muscle depth within the top 1% of the breed.
