Consortium of dairy suppliers to give a single voice

 A consortium of suppliers to the British dairy industry has united under one banner in an attempt to initiate a co-ordinated approach to the international dairy market.

Launched at the Dairy Event on Wednesday (20 September) as the British Dairy Consortium, its directory lists independent British-based companies catering for key dairy disciplines.

BDC chairman, Kevin Brewer, hopes that the consortium will act as a point of contact for those seeking to expand or improve milk production anywhere in the world.

Mr Brewer said: “Britain’s dairy industry is among the most advanced and efficient in the world, and believes that presenting these companies together allows BDC to play a co-ordinated role in global dairy development.”
